Greets each guest entering restaurant Takes food and drink orders, communicates with bartender, assists in the preparation of drinks, and presents drinks to guests Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines Operates a cash register/POS System, ringing proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change; accounts for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedure; maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities Keeps designated working area clean and organized, and assists in maintaining cleanliness of dining room, including host stand area, as necessary or required, in accordance with established health and safety standards Completes any reasonably requested job duty or any reasonable request made by manager or management personnel.
Recognizes players and relays that information to the host/hostess and/or other restaurant team members to ensure they receive the appropriate service Knows and promotes current property events and promotions Thanks customers, invites them back, wishes them luck How to attend On August 14th, 2023 - Plainridge Park Casino, Massachusetts' first Casino, will be hosting a Hiring Event in preparation of the launch of the NEW Barstool Sports Bar and Sportsbook! We are looking motivated Team Members, who are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, while having fun at work! Please look at our openings, as we are looking for positions in both the front-of house, and back-of-house; from hourly roles to management positions! We are going to be holding this event in our Banquet Rooms, on-property.
DIRECTIONS TO HIRING EVENT:

301 Washington Street, Plainville, MA 02762 Once you turn onto the Casino Property from Route 1, follow the road straight toward the building.
Take your 1st right hand turn and follow signs for EMPLOYEE PARKING (following this road will essentially bring you around to the back of the building) Continue around the back of the building past the entrance to the 1st level garage parking labeled EMPLOYEE PARKING Just on your left you will see 4 parking spots very close to the side of the building 3 of those spots are VISITOR parking spots, please feel free to park in one of those spots If those are occupied, feel free to park in any open spot on the side of the building or in the 1st level garage parking labeled EMPLOYEE PARKING The entrance is a set of glass doors down a small walkway between the building and the VISITOR parking Preferred dress code Casual (come as you are, but please be presentable) What is a hiring event?
